In my previous posts I have made it very clear that I have a preference for thrift and consignment shopping. Prior to going off to college, I spent a couple of years in business school studying fashion merchandising.  Following my graduation, I worked in several retail stores and boutiques.

Why pay more when you don’t have to? You can still look good wearing what someone else paid full price for.

Is the garment any less stylish because you paid less? No! Because you paid less for a gently worn item does it reduce the quality ? No! Can you look like you paid full price; even though you paid less? Yes!

There are people who like to brag about how much they spend on clothes, then there are those who like to celebrate how much they save, or should I say, “invest”  on a wardrobe.

The key word is “Invest”  Your Investments have no place in a trendy closet.
